Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning: Families Matter: Roots, Relationships, and the Book of Genesis (Copy)

What do the families of Genesis reveal about our own? In this two-part course, October 22 and 29th, Rabbi Amy Grossblatt Pessah guides us through the joys, tensions, and sacred complexities of family life as told in the Torah portions of Noach and Lech Lecha.

We’ll explore how these ancient stories resonate with modern questions of identity, legacy, and belonging.

Through thoughtful text study and personal reflection, we’ll discover how the families of our tradition can help us better understand the families we are a part of today.
